We will be having two (2) special visits from the Will County Supervisor of Assessments Office Staff to assist you in completing your yearly SENIOR EXEMPTION, SENIOR FREEZE, DISABLED AND VETERANS APPLICATIONS.

The Assessor's Office can assist you with applying for property tax Senior, General, Veteran and Disabled Exemptions, Circuit Breaker, Farming & Stewardship, RTA Program Passes and more!

My office is committed to serving you the taxpayer by bringing you fair, impartial and equitable assessments. Understand the Assessor's Office is not responsible for setting your tax rate, but contributes to tax rate decreases by providing equitable assessments for your property.  As an elected official, I am bound by state statutes to assess fair and equitably. Lower tax payments are not realized by lowering assessments, as one of the responsibility of the Assessor is to find ways to lower property taxes by applying the relief and exemptions that are available. I am here to analyze the sales and data that the Department of Revenue provides and apply it to the assessment process.

I work hard to bring fiscal responsibility and tax fairness during this tough budgeting period. I will continue to lobby the taxing bodies of each township, imploring them to scrutinize their budgets and make the necessary cuts to continue the reduction of the tax rates that will help us ALL through this economically challenged time.
